OXFORD, Miss. – The Lawrence Gallery at the University of Mississippi Museum is getting a much needed facelift this spring.
The floor and walls of the gallery are being renovated, which will require the area to be closed until April 30, said Albert Sperath, director of University Museum and Historic Houses.
“Floor and drywall replacements have been staggered so that the museum can remain open while certain galleries are being repaired,” Sperath said. “Renovations to the Skipwith Gallery were completed last year, making the Lawrence Gallery next in line.”
