Clarion Ledger: Haskell Purchases Movie Rights to Scruggs Book

Sam Haskell, a native of Amory and a veteran of the Hollywood scene, believes he has something filmmakers will fight over: A real-life, John Grisham-type story that offers nearly every aspect of human drama. Haskell recently purchased the rights to the new book The Fall of the House of Zeus: The Rise and Ruin of America’s Most Powerful Trial Lawyer (Crown, $29.95), written by renowned journalist Curtis Wilkie of Oxford.
