OXFORD, Miss. – The University of Mississippi’s Office of Pre-College Programs will host an open house event Feb. 27 to showcase its summer programs for K-12 students.
The event, set for 4-6 p.m. at the university’s Jackson Avenue Center, is free and open to the public. Interested parents and students in kindergarten through 12th grade can speak with camp faculty and participate in demonstrations.
The programs highlighted include the popular Rebel Quest day camps, open to students who will be in first through sixth grades this fall. Other programs include weeklong workshops focusing on game design, creative writing, music, theater production, ecology, the literary works of William Faulkner and movie adaptations of Shakespeare classics.
