A Big Thank You to All Our Donors

School of Engineering thriving through faithful financial support of alumni and friends

The School of Engineering continues to thrive and provide opportunities for students to excel because of the generosity of alumni and friends.

Ole Miss Engineering thrives, in part, because of the help of our donors. In the past four years, nearly $2 million in scholarships has been awarded because of your generosity. In addition, donations to the Woods Society funded student activities and student organizations such as Engineers Without Borders, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers. We are thankful for your ongoing support!

The new academic year is upon us, which brings more excitement to the school. We will continue meeting with our alumni to help address various needs at the School of Engineering. As always, student scholarships are valuable, but we also seek to improve our facilities. We are looking at upgrades to existing departmental labs to support education and research with modern infrastructure. As you are aware, technology evolves quickly, so this is an ongoing need and we value support from our alumni.

The School of Engineering continues to be one of the best-performing schools on campus. Students are advancing their skills and resumes through internships, co-ops and other practical experiences. Our graduates are broadly prepared to tackle anything that is thrown at them. This is in great part a credit to the faculty who work hard to ensure students are prepared for an ever-changing workplace and to our alumni who embrace these efforts.

Thank you to all of you who have supported us over the past two years, 2019-20 and 2020-21.

The School of Engineering will once again host a tailgating tent this fall in front of Brevard Hall for home football games. Please stop by and see us!
