OXFORD, Miss. – The 2008-09 officers of the AssociatedStudent Body at the University of Mississippi wereinaugurated Monday (March 31) on the front steps of theLyceum.
The officers were chosen in February during campuswideelections.
Sworn in as student body president was Graham Purcell, asenior political science major from Louisville; vicepresident, Megan McRaney, a senior sociology major fromMadison, secretary, Stewart Hood, a sophomore liberal artsmajor from Jackson; treasurer, Joshua Randle, a sophomorepolical science major from Amory; judicial council chair,CaCera Richmond, a senior journalism major from Oxford; andattorney general, McDaniel Wicker, a senior internationalstudies major from Tupelo.
Taking the oath as new leaders of the Student ProgrammingBoard were Brittany Baker, a junior art major from OliveBranch, as director, and Sarah Eicholtz, a junior familyand consumer science major from Louisville, Ky., asassociate director.
