OXFORD, Miss. – Hundreds of University of Mississippi
alumni, faculty, students and friends are expected to
gather at the site of the university’s new law building for
a groundbreaking ceremony Saturday, March 29.
The 11:30 a.m. event is open to the public, and media
representatives are welcome. The program is to include
comments from Law Dean Samuel M. Davis, Chancellor Robert
Khayat and Bill Goodman, chairman of the fundraising
campaign steering committee. The site is on Coliseum Drive
across from Tad Smith Coliseum.
The ceremony is being held in conjunction with Law Alumni
Weekend, the School of Law’s annual event for class
