THIS WEEK FOR OLE MISS:
Ole Miss will play a single midweek game on the road facing Memphis at AutoZone Park on Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. before continuing Southeastern Conference play on the road at arch-rival Mississippi State. All three games of the weekend series will be televised. Friday’s opener will begin at 6:30 p.m. and be carried by SportSouth, while Saturday starts at 2 p.m. Sunday’s game is at 1 p.m. on CSS.

NEXT WEEK FOR THE REBELS:
Ole Miss will kick-off a busy week next week with a Tuesday game against Southern Miss at Trustmark Park in Pearl to make up for the rained out game earlier this season. The Rebels then return home to host Murray State on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. before hosting the LSU Tigers in a three-game series in Oxford over the weekend. Game times are set for 6:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

NOTING BAILEY: Junior right-hander Tanner Bailey will make his first start for the Rebels when he takes the mound against Memphis on Tuesday night. The junior has made nine apperances this year and holds a 3.77 ERA through 14.1 innings of work. He has posted 17 strikeouts and walked only four in that time, while holding opponents to a .125 batting average against in those outings. Bailey has combined for one shutout on the season and holds a 1-0 record after picking up a relief win at then #22 Louisville when he worked a season-long 3.0 innings on the way to the win for the Rebels.

A LOOK AT MEMPHIS:
The Memphis Tigers enter the Tuesday night contest with an overall record of 17-23 and are coming off a series loss to Southern Miss this past weekend, dropping all three contests by fewer than two runs. The Tigers are batting at a .280 clip and are led at the plate by Adam McClain, who is hitting at a .378 clip. Eli Hynes leads the run production with 10 home runs and 35 RBI for the Tigers. Memphis’ pitching staff holds a team ERA of 4.19 with 281 strikeouts and 144 walks, while holding opponents to a .260 batting average against. Tuesday night’s starter, Michael Wills, holds a 2-1 record through 11 appearances and eight starts with a 4.60 ERA. In his 47.0 innings of work, Wills has struck out 26 batters and walked 15, while limiting opponents to a .273 batting average against.

OLE MISS VS. MEMPHIS:
Ole Miss and Memphis have faced off 136 times in the history of the two schools with the Rebels holding and 89-47 lead in the all-time series. The two teams first met in the 1916 season with the Rebels claiming a pair of wins to kick-off the series.

LAST TIME OUT VS. MEMPHIS:
Ole Miss and Memphis last met in Oxford on Tuesday, February 28, with the Rebels picking up a 7-2 win over the Tigers. With the game tied at two, the Rebels put together a five-run eighth inning to grab the win, with Dylan Chavez as the pitcher of record.

BIANCO VS. MEMPHIS:
Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco has faced the Memphis Tigers 23 times and holds a 19-4 record against Memphis.

Ole Miss has posted an impressive non-conference record over the course of the past nine seasons under head coach Mike Bianco. Since Bianco’s arrival in Oxford in 2001, the Rebels have posted a 242-87-1 (.734 win percentage) mark in non-conference games. Just a year ago, the Rebels were 17-8 in non-conference games, posting a .654 win percentage. This season, Ole Miss is 18-4 in non-conference games.

Four Rebels hold hit streaks of more than two games heading into the Tuesday night contest against Memphis at AutoZone Park. Alex Yarbrough leads the team with an active streak of 19 games with a hit, while Will Allen is right behind him with a hit in the last 10 games. Matt Snyder has hit in six straight games, while Andrew Mistone holds a five game hitting streak and Blake Newalu has hit in three consecutive games.
