OXFORD, Miss. – The University of Mississippi Career Center will benefit from a recent $5,000 contribution from Fastenal, a national corporation that distributes screws, nuts and other supplies for construction projects.
The donation will be used for more student programming as well as updates to the Career Center, said Jonathan Harrington, the center’s associate director of employment services.
“We value Fastenal’s interest in our students’ futures, and we are grateful to receive this donation from them,” Harrington said.
Fastenal employs more than 10,000 people at some 2,600 stores nationwide, including a store in Oxford.
