Ole Miss Luncheon Series Visits Greenwood April 15

OXFORD, Miss. – University of Mississippi Chancellor Robert Khayat plans to discuss recent successes at Ole Miss and the vision for the university’s future when the Ole Miss Luncheon Series visits Greenwood April 15.

 



Sponsored by the Ole Miss Alumni Association, the event is slated for 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Greenwood Country Club, 951 Highway 430 South. The cost is $10 per person and includes lunch.

Khayat has been UM’s chancellor for more than 12 years, a period marked by unprecedented growth in the university’s enrollment, endowment and national academic reputation. His career at Ole Miss has also included roles as student, law professor, associate dean, athletics director and vice chancellor. Khayat was an All-Pro kicker for the NFL’s Washington Redskins before attending law school at Ole Miss and then Yale, where he received his master of laws degree.

The Ole Miss Luncheon Series consists of academically focused luncheons that spotlight outstanding academic and research success at the institution.
