The Southern Foodways Alliance is a non-profit institute housed in the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at the University of Mississippi whose mission includes celebrating the diverse culture of Southern food. Earlier today, SFA Filmmaker Joe York’s short film “Eggers” must have struck a chord with The Oxford American as they highlighted hidden gems in the Arkansas Delta. York’s film is included in a post by the national literary magazine along with other off-the-beaten-path dining destinations suggested by the SFA. Check it out.
