OXFORD, Miss. – Residence hall open houses and information
sessions on academics, student life, financial aid and
scholarships are among the offerings for prospective
students attending Fall Visit Day Oct. 6 at the University
of Mississippi.
Coinciding with Homecoming Weekend, fall visit is “is
one-stop shopping for prospective students and their
families,” said Charlotte Fant, registrar and director of
admissions. “Students and their parents can investigate
academic programs, student organizations, student life and
student support programs all in one day.”
Registration opens at 8 a.m. in front of Martindale Student
Services Center. Campus tours and maps will be available. A
limited number of $5 football tickets for the Vanderbilt
game will be offered to the visiting students. To register

“We hope students will leave Fall Visit Day with a better
understanding of the balance Ole Miss has to offer – a
