Hi, I’m Misty and, like many women who live here in Oxford, I am a full-time working mom. Like most moms, I am super vigilant about trying to be a “Supermom” and provide my kids with all the best in education and well-rounded activities to stimulate brain development and foster academic and social growth.
Since I work at Ole Miss, mommy/kiddo day-out type activities are…well, OUT. The reality is that I have a limited time with them. So, I’m constantly looking for pertinent activities and resources, as well as advice for my family to participate in to make life easier, more enjoyable and fun– more “bang for your buck (and time).” I’m excited to seek out the plethora of baby and toddler info that the greater Oxford area has to offer and share it with everyone. What kind of info, you ask?
1) Fun and educational activities at Ole Miss and also in the Oxford areas
2) Family-friendly restaurant experiences or easy meals for working moms
3) Free or inexpensive learning resources for kids
4) Great advice or opinions from experts or moms in the area
I also hope to feature other Ole Miss moms and kids and their adventures out and about to share with others. Let’s learn and experience together to strengthen our families, laugh a little and raise happy and healthy Rebels!
