UM Christmas Tree Lighting Set for Nov. 30 in Circle

OXFORD, Miss. – The annual lighting of the University of Mississippi’s Christmas tree is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 30) in the Circle near the Lyceum.

The Ole Miss Gospel Choir will perform several songs during the lighting ceremony, which is open to the public. The event also features remarks by Chancellor Dan Jones and Whitman Smith, UM director of enrollment services.

This lighting ceremony is sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, Department of Campus Programming and the Student Programming Board.
