Boggan, administrative secretary for University Bands<\/li>\n<li>Rachel R. Bost, director of Procurement Services<\/li>\n<li>Laura Diven-Brown, director of financial aid<\/li>\n<li>Gregory L. Easson, associate dean for research and graduate education in the School of Engineering and director of the Mississippi Mineral Resources Institute<\/li>\n<li>Thomas A. Jamerson, laboratory physicist<\/li>\n<li>Corey L. Jones, painter II in the Facilities Management Department<\/li>\n<li>James A. Ling, director of Business Applications and ERP Support<\/li>\n<li>Steven Shaw, maintenance technician for the Department of Student Housing<\/li>\n<li>Dawn E. Wilkins, chair and professor of computer and information science<\/li>\n<li>Bahram Alidaee, professor of pharmacy administration and production operations management<\/li>\n<li>Jody G. Allen, telecommunications technician<\/li>\n<li>Victoria Bush, professor of marketing and Donna Ruth Roberts Scholar<\/li>\n<li>Susan H. Sparks, computer operations specialist for Technical Services<\/li>\n<li>John W. Supple, assistant director of telecommunications facilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Chancellor Glenn Boyce assisted with the awards presentation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;<\/strong>I&#8217;ve long believed that the great impact this university has in Mississippi and around the world is due to our people,&#8221; Boyce said. &#8220;As longstanding members of this community, you&#8217;ve each made your unique mark on the university. You are an important part of our legacy of excellence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olemissalumni.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ole Miss Alumni Association<\/a> further honored each recipient with a contribution in their name to the Friends of the Library.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The 2020 25-year awards luncheon honors faculty and staff who have reached the milestone of 25 years of continuous service at Ole Miss,&#8221; said Kirk Purdon, executive director of alumni affairs. &#8220;These awards are our way of saying &#8216;thank you&#8217; for your dedication and loyalty to the University of Mississippi.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A book plate with each person&#8217;s name will be placed in the book bought with their gift.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OXFORD, Miss. \u2013 Fourteen University of Mississippi employees have been recognized for their 25 years of service.
