Christina Lewis<\/p><\/div>\n

Christina Lewis, operations manager at the University of Mississippi Telecommunications Center<\/a>, is the Staff Council’s Staff Member of the Month for August. To help us get to know her better, she answered some questions for Inside Ole Miss. <\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>How long have you worked at Ole Miss?<\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> 14 years<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is your hometown? <\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> Picayune, Mississippi. <\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>Talk about your favorite Ole Miss memory? (This can be work-related, but does not have to be.) <\/p>\n

Lewis: <\/strong>One of my favorite Ole Miss memories is when Housing held move-in day at the Jackson Avenue Center, formerly known as the “Old Walmart.” I enjoyed assisting students and their families with information about the university and telecommunications services.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What do you enjoy most about your position or the department in which you work? <\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> Telecommunications has a family atmosphere that I truly value. I enjoy preforming support staff tasks for our technicians, students and faculty\/staff members.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What do you like to do when you are not at work? <\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is one thing on your bucket list? <\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> One of the things on my bucket list is to travel. I would love to one day travel to Greece with my family.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is your favorite movie?<\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> “Braveheart.”<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is your favorite Ole Miss tradition?<\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> Like most people, my favorite Ole Miss tradition is the Grove. Ole Miss fan or not, you have to love the Grove atmosphere.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is a fun fact about you? <\/p>\n

Lewis: <\/strong>My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. <\/strong><\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>If you could have lunch with anyone alive or dead\/fictional or real, who would it be and why?<\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> I would like to talk to a solder that fought in WWII. I would enjoy listening to the stories that have never been told.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What are three words you would use to describe yourself?<\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> Loyal, energetic, thoughtful.<\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> If you could visit one time or place in world history (past, present or future), what would it be?<\/p>\n

Lewis:<\/strong> I would go to Jerusalem and walk the streets with Jesus.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>If I could be an animal for a day I would be ____ .<\/p>\n

Lewis: <\/strong>A lion. <\/p>\n
