\nUM faculty, staff and students can let the IHL Board’s search committee know what qualities they want in their next chancellor by attending a “Listening Session” today (Feb. 17) at The Inn at Ole Miss. Qualities identified will be included in the job description.<\/p>\n

Sessions in sections C and D of The Inn’s ballroom are being webcast live. To watch them, look under the word “Newsdesk” on UM’s home page, then follow the links.<\/p>\n

Live webcasts cover sessions from 9 a.m. to noon, 1:15-4 p.m. and 4:30-5 p.m. Those sessions include:<\/p>\n

9-9:45 a.m.: Deans, associate vice chancellors and associate deans.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

9:45-10:30 a.m.: Alumni Association board<\/p>\n

10:30-11:15 a.m.:Assistant vice chancellors, assistant deans, academic and non-academic department chairs, department heads and directors. Watch this session<\/b><\/a> .<\/p>\n

11:15 a.m.-noon:Faculty Senate<\/p>\n

1:15-1:45 p.m.: Staff Council and professional and support staff<\/p>\n

1:45-2:30 p.m.: Medical Center faculty and staff<\/p>\n

2:30-3:15 p.m.: General faculty<\/p>\n

3:15-4 p.m.: UM alumni, community leaders and general public<\/p>\n
