OXFORD, Miss. – Amidst the University of Mississippi’s recent homecoming
\nactivities, the Ole Miss Alumni Association announced its officers for
\n2009-10.
\n
<\/p>\n
\nCharles
\nClark is the organization’s new president, a one-year term that changes
\neach homecoming. Clark, who earned his Bachelor of Business
\nAdministration in Accountancy from UM in 1972, is a managing member at
\nClark Capital LLC in Birmingham, Ala.\n<\/p>\n
\n“I am
\nboth honored and humbled to serve as your new president,” Clark
\nsaid. “With so many great things happening in all areas at Ole Miss,
\nI cannot think of a more exciting time to be granted this
\nprivilege.” \n<\/p>\n
\nWhile at
\nOle Miss, Clark served as president of both Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and
\nthe business school student body. \n<\/p>\n
\n“Charles Clark and his wife, Ginger, will be great leaders for our
\nuniversity,” said Rose Jackson Flenorl, the alumni association’s
\nimmediate past president. “Charles has worked for many years
\nsupporting Ole Miss. He will take our association to new
\nheights.”\n<\/p>\n
\nBesides
\nserving as alumni association president, Clark serves on the professional
\nadvisory board for the School of Accountancy. \n<\/p>\n
\nWilliam T.
\nMay was selected as the association’s president-elect. May is an attorney
\nand partner with Bourdeaux and Jones in Meridian. Richard Noble of
\nIndianola was elected vice president. Sam Lane of Jackson and Karen Lee
\nof Greenville are new members of the athletics committee.\n<\/p>\n
