Religion, Race and Nation in Early 19th Century Black America.&#8221; His work also includes &#8220;African-American Religious Thought: An Anthology,&#8221; co-edited with Cornel West, and &#8220;Is It Nation Time? Contemporary Essays on Black Power and Black Nationalism.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Titled &#8220;Public, Prosperity and Politics: The Changing Face of African-American Christianity and Political Life,&#8221; Glaude&#8217;s lecture made possible through the Department of Religion and Philosophy&#8217;s William Hal Furr Dialogue on Philosophy and Religion. The series was established in the late UM&#8217;s professor&#8217;s honor following his death in 1974.
