The award, given to one exceptional educator each year, was presented to Jensen during the organization\u2019s recent international conference in Washington, D.C. \u00a0Dr. Jensen retired from a 22-year-career in the FBI and joined the university\u2019s faculty in 2007 after working for a year as a Senior Behavioral Scientist at the RAND Corporation.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">CISS maintains close ties with the intelligence community and offers high-performing students a minor in Intelligence and Security Studies (ISS). Recently, the Director of National Intelligence named CISS a Center for Academic Excellence. This prestigious award brings with it funding for educational program development, study abroad opportunities, and summer workshops for high school students.
