She has trained in ballet since the age of 3 and worked as director of the lower school division and dance instructor for Oxford Ballet School.<\/p>\n<p>She said working for the university has always been a goal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI enjoy being active in the Oxford community, and being part of the university community is something I have been interested in since the day I walked across the graduation stage,\u201d Barlow said.<\/p>\n<p>Barlow replaces longtime development officer Michael Upton, who joined the UM School of Applied Sciences as director of development Feb. 1. She will also serve as development officer for the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts and the UM Museum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m so pleased to have Angela join the development team,\u201d said Julia Rholes, dean of University Libraries. \u201cShe\u2019s very committed to this university and has a strong desire to bring more attention and resources to the library.
