Startup Weekend<\/a> is a global movement, designed to provide a unique experience for all types of entrepreneurs.\u00a0\u00a0Oxford\u2019s first-ever event will take place at the Innovation Hub @ Insight Park<\/a>, located on the campus of the University of Mississippi. The clock starts ticking with pitches on Friday night and continues with brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation.\u00a0\u00a0Throughout the weekend, you\u2019ll collaborate with like-minded individuals and expand your network of professional contacts. All teams hear talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurs.\u00a0This is definitely a working weekend\u2026 packed with action, innovation, and education. \u00a0Whether you\u2019re looking for feedback on an idea, wanting to identify a co-founder, develop specific skill sets, or build a team to help you execute, Startup Weekend is the perfect place for testing your idea and taking the first steps toward launching your own startup.<\/p>\n
