Madonna\u2019s daughter, Lourdes Leon, was photographed by Splash News while attending her prom. In the picture, one of her friends is holding an Ole Miss bag complete with the Lyceum logo.<\/p><\/div>\n

It\u2019s not as unusual as one thinks to see Ole Miss mentioned in celebrity news, however, that doesn\u2019t mean the mentions aren\u2019t interesting.<\/p>\n

From seeing an Associated Press photo of an Ole Miss bag with President Obama\u2019s label attached to it <\/a>to country singer Keith Urban wearing an Ole Miss hat at a recent concert,<\/a> famous people being photographed with Ole Miss swag seems to be a\u00a0frequent\u00a0occurrence these days.<\/p>\n

The latest to show up online involves pop diva, Madonna\u2019s daughter, Lourdes Leon. The recent high school graduate was photographed by Splash News while attending her prom. The photo is the run of the mill celeb\u2019s daughter spotted standing around with a couple of friends, but any Ole Miss alum will instantly be drawn to a very familiar bag one of those friends is holding. The navy blue tote with a Lyceum crest logo and University script is unmistakable.<\/p>\n

Now the buzz is all about who is the guy holding the bag and how does he know Madonna\u2019s daughter? Ole Miss alums are known for an extensive circle of famous friends, so having an Ole Miss orientation tote show up in a photo of a pop singer\u2019s daughter just adds to the cool factor our University has.
