\nOXFORD, Miss. – Students from around the globe plan to
\ngather Sunday (Nov. 11) to share and learn during
\nInternational Night at the University of Mississippi.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\nHosted by the International Students Organization, the
\nevent is set for 7 p.m. in the Gertrude C. Ford Center for
\nthe Performing Arts.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nAdmission is $10, with tickets to be available at the door.
\nThey also can be purchased in advance at the Central Ticket
\nOffice in the Student Union or by calling 662-915-7411. The
\nfirst 150 people to show their tickets and be admitted to
\nthe program get a free ISO T-shirt.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nThe event features dances and other performances, as well
\nas a fashion show, said Melanie Graupner, a UM geology
\nmajor from Germany and ISO event coordinator.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nGraupner said the best part of International Night for her
\nis interacting with people from other cultures.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n“I enjoy meeting new people, so this is, for me, the ideal
\nevent to get to know people from other countries,” Graupner
\nsaid.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
