\n\"??universityOXFORD, Miss. – In tune with the approaching holiday
\nseason, the University of Mississippi Museum has released
\na unique collectible, its seventh in a series.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\nThe limited edition keepsake depicts Rowan Oak, the
\nhistoric home of Nobel Prize-winning author William
\nFaulkner. Stamped and gold-plated, the collectible can be
\npurchased at the museum’s gift shop for $15 plus tax or
\nshipped for an additional $5.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n“It’s one of our biggest sellers throughout the holiday
\nseason,” said Albert Sperath, museum director. “A lot of
\nfolks buy the collectible keepsakes as gifts or for
\nthemselves to adorn their Christmas trees at home.”
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nRowan Oak, located near the UM campus, was purchased by
\nFaulkner in 1930. Owned by the university, the home serves
\nas a museum and includes Faulkner’s own furniture, smoking
\npipe and typewriter.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nThe museum’s previously released collectibles feature the
\nuniversity’s Lyceum, Ventress Hall, Barnard Observatory,
\nBrandt Memory House and Skipwith House, as well as the
\nLafayette County Courthouse. Complete sets of the
\nkeepsakes’ entire series are also available.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nProfits from the sales are funneled back into the museum’s
\ngeneral account.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nThe gift shop is open during regular museum hours 9:30
\na.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1-4 p.m.
\nSunday.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nChristmas delivery must be placed by Dec. 14.
