\nOXFORD, Miss. – The University of Mississippi introduces
\nHouston Nutt as its new head football coach at noon
\nWednesday, Nov. 28, in the Ford Center for the Performing
\nArts.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\nThe event is open to the public.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nFriday, Coach Nutt concluded an 8-4 regular season at
\nArkansas with a triple-overtime upset of then-No. 1 LSU.
\nHe leaves Arkansas with a 10-year record of 75-48, three
\nSEC West championships and two trips to the SEC
\nChampionship game. He also led Arkansas to eight bowl games
\nin 10 seasons.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nUM Chancellor Robert Khayat said that Coach Nutt has a
\ndistinguished Southeastern Conference record and that he
\nexpects him “to bring a new level of enthusiasm and
\nleadership to our football program.”
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nKhayat also expects Nutt to help UM win the SEC and become
\nnationally competitive.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n“Tomorrow is an exciting day for all of us in the Ole Miss
\nfamily,” Khayat said. “We invite everyone to come to the
\nFord Center at noon and share the excitement with us.”
