\nOXFORD, Miss. — Get in the holiday spirit Sunday, Dec. 9,
\nat the University of Mississippi when world-class singers
\nand a top symphony orchestra take the stage at the Gertrude
\nC. Ford Center for the Performing Arts.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n<\/span>
\n
<\/p>\n

\n“Sounds of the Season” concert at 3 p.m. features
\nheartwarming musical favorites performed by inspirational
\nsinger Mary Donnelly Haskell, soprano Laurie Gayle
\nStephenson and baritone Steve Amerson, with the Tupelo
\nSymphony Orchestra. They are to be joined by the 160-member
\ncombined choirs of Itawamba Community College and Northeast
\nMississippi Community College.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nTickets for the live performance are $35, $32 and $29 for
\nvarious seating. They are available by calling the UM Box
\nOffice at 662-915-7411 or visiting the box office in the
\nStudent Union.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n“Nothing can beat the effect that a symphony orchestra and
\nworld-class vocalists can have on the soul,” said Norm
\nEasterbrook, Ford Center director. “Come celebrate the
\nseason with family and friends at this joyful concert that
\nwon’t soon be forgotten.”
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nHaskell said she’s looking forward to returning home and
\nperforming with the Tupelo Symphony Orchestra and her “dear
\nfriends.” Both Haskell and Stephenson are Ole Miss
\nalumnae.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nsince recording with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra on
