Each year, the University of Mississippi’s National PanHellenic Council<\/a>\u00a0hosts the annual Homecoming step show, which debuts elaborate performances by sororities and fraternities in NPHC.<\/p>\n

Each organization preforming will present a “step show” which consists of steps, skits and exciting role playing. The organizations will be judged by six alumni, one from each organization preforming; Noel Wilkin, associate provost; and Carolina Nutt, assistant director of admissions for enrollment services. The fraternity and sorority that\u00a0win the step competition each receive $250, and the rest of the money raised will go toward events that NPHC will host throughout the year.<\/p>\n

“This event continues to grow bigger every year, and I am excited to see the step show improve even more this year,” said Joe Curry, NPHC president.<\/p>\n

The NPHC\u00a0will host its\u00a0annual Homecoming step show tomorrow (Oct. 17) at the Ford Center. The general admission doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7. Tickets are $10 at the Student Union Box Office and $15 at the door.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
