\"29_DAYS-THANKS_2\"<\/a>The reason we all choose to attend college is to graduate with the degree of our choice and then pursue a career.<\/p>\n

The education students receive at the University of Mississippi is outstanding, and the day we recognize the accomplishments of those students is nothing short of that.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll never forget the day I graduated from Ole Miss. The Meek School of Journalism and New Media was celebrating its first class as a school.<\/p>\n

I was lucky enough to walk across the stage to receive my degree at the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts, which is an absolutely stunning venue, and legendary journalist Dan Rather was the guest speaker at the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2015, the 162nd\u00a0class to graduate from Ole Miss, is scheduled for\u00a0May 9, beginning with convocation in the Grove that morning.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know what it\u2019s like to graduate from any other university, but I know that graduation day at Ole Miss is perfect and unforgettable.<\/p>\n
