\"\"<\/a>The UM Staff Council<\/a> has chosen Sarah Siebert, who teaches 4-year-olds at Willie Price Lab School, as December’s Staff Member of the Month.\u00a0To help us\u00a0get to know her better, Siebert answered a few questions for Inside Ole Miss.<\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>How long have you worked at Ole Miss? \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert: <\/span><\/strong>I started working at Ole Miss in August 2009.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>What is your hometown? \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert: <\/span><\/strong>Shorewood, Illinois<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>What is your favorite Ole Miss memory?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>There are so many to choose from. Professionally, helping prepare for the Education Reform Forum during the 2008 presidential debate as a grad assistant and then watching the debate in the Grove. \u00a0It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. \u00a0Sports-wise, Ole Miss vs. Texas in Oxford. \u00a0I had a family member coaching at Texas that year, so my entire family came to Oxford for the first time. \u00a0Beating them the next year was even better!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>What do you enjoy most about your position or the department in which you work? \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>My students and my co-workers are incredible. My students are eager to learn, sweet and make me laugh all day long! My co-workers are the most positive and hardworking people I have ever met. Also, I love that we get to work with so many different groups of students who come to Willie Price for various reasons. You can’t help but be happy at Willie Price!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>What do you like to do when you are not at work? \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Eat! \u00a0I love to cook for my friends and family. I also love to travel, especially for Ole Miss sporting events. I only missed one football game this season (home or away); of course, it was the Alabama game. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>What is one thing on your bucket list?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Go to a Taping of the Jimmy Fallon show.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>What is your favorite movie? \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0“<\/span><\/span>Heavyweights.” So many great quotes, and you can’t help but laugh the entire time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>What is your favorite Ole Miss tradition? \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>The Walk of Champions before football games.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>What is a fun fact about you? \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Siebert:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>I sang and danced onstage with the Beach Boys and John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) to “Barbara Ann” this summer in Tupelo with a bunch of my friends. It was like living an episode of “Full House.”\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
