As the world celebrates Earth Day on April 22, a respected anthropologist will share findings of her research on the people of Papua New Guinea at the University of Mississippi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paige West, of Columbia University, will discuss “Imagining Pacific Futures: Climate Change, Local Livelihoods and International Environmentalist Rhetorics.” The free program begins at 7 p.m. in the Overby Center auditorium.<\/span><\/p>\n
