Jean Munson<\/p><\/div>\n

Jean Munson, administrative coordinator I in the Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management<\/a>, has been selected as Staff Council\u2019s Staff Member of the Month for April. To help us\u00a0get to know her better, Munson answered a few questions for Inside Ole Miss.<\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> How long have you worked at Ole Miss?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Munson:<\/strong> 5 years<\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> What is your hometown?\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Munson:<\/strong> North Tonawanda, New York.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> What is your favorite Ole Miss memory? <\/span><\/p>\n

Munson:<\/strong>\u00a0I think my favorite Ole Miss memory is graduation day.\u00a0 I truly look forward to that day each year.\u00a0 It is such an honor to be part of and share in that awesome milestone with our students.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> What do you enjoy most about your position or the department in which you work?\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Munson:<\/strong> I really enjoy being around the students, working with them, and watching them grow – they also keep me young!<\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> What do you like to do when you are not at work?\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Munson:<\/strong> I love spending lots of time with my daughter and watching her cheer for her high school teams, playing with my dogs and being outside in my garden.<\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> What is one thing on your bucket list?\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Munson:<\/strong> To return to Europe and enjoy a fabulous vacation.<\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> What is your favorite movie? <\/span><\/p>\n

Munson:<\/strong> The Sound of Music<\/span><\/p>\n

IOM:<\/strong> What is a fun fact about you?<\/p>\n

Munson:<\/strong> I love flamingos.\u00a0 If I thought for one moment that my Homeowners Association would allow it, I would have a bunch of them in my yard, fake of course.\u00a0 What would be more fun than that?<\/p>\n
