Dion Sanford<\/p><\/div>\n

Dion Sanford, a UM procurement<\/a> assistant and mailroom billing clerk, has been selected as Staff Council’s Staff Member of the Month for June. To help us\u00a0get to know him better, Sanford answered a few questions for Inside Ole Miss.<\/p>\n

IOM: How long have you worked at Ole Miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanford:<\/strong> I was a student worker in the biology department from January through July 2011, was a campus mail student worker from October 2011 until June 2014, and have worked at Campus Mail full-time since June 2014, and have worked at Procurement since November 2014.<\/p>\n

IOM:\u00a0<\/strong>What is your hometown?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanford:<\/strong>\u00a0Courtland\/Batesville<\/p>\n

IOM: What is your favorite Ole Miss memory?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanford:<\/strong>\u00a0Walking across the stage as an Ole Miss accountancy graduate.<\/p>\n

IOM: What do you enjoy most about your position or the department in which you work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanford:<\/strong>\u00a0I love the environment that I am around and love helping people across campus. I also love working with numbers and doing things right.<\/p>\n

IOM: What do you like to do when you are not at work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanford:<\/strong>\u00a0I like to spend time at church or relaxing with family.<\/p>\n

IOM: What is one thing on your bucket list?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanford:<\/strong>\u00a0I’d like to go to the White House.<\/p>\n

IOM:\u00a0<\/strong>What is your favorite movie?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanford:<\/strong>\u00a0I don’t spend too much time watching movies, so I’ll choose the last one I saw and that was “Furious 7.”<\/p>\n

IOM:\u00a0<\/strong>What are three words you would use to describe yourself?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sanford:<\/strong>\u00a0Honest, passionate, respectful<\/p>\n
