Students make use of the J.D. Williams library during the last week of classes before finals.<\/p><\/div>\n

The University of Mississippi’s J.D. Williams Library is hosting a Stress Help Week Workshop from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 2) and Thursday (Dec. 3) in Room 106E.<\/p>\n

This is the first year for the library to host this event, which will cover various ways people can learn to relax and handle their stress. The organizers hope to provide attendees with different relaxation techniques and methods, as all people handle stress differently.<\/p>\n

“We all have too much stress, but there are things we can do to both avoid it and cope with it,” said Debra Riley-Huff, head of Web and digital scholarship and an associate professor. “In addition to traditional techniques, I am also going to present some uncommon, strange, zany and fun ways to alleviate stress.”<\/p>\n

The library offers additional resources to help students, faculty and staff deal with stress, and many of these will be discussed at the Stress Help Week Workshop.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
