\nOXFORD, Miss. – The University of Mississippi invites
\nprospective college students and their parents to campus
\nMarch 29 for annual Spring Visit Day.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\nOne of the largest recruitment programs held each year,
\nSpring Visit Day is an opportunity for potential students
\nto tour the campus, learn about academic programs and meet
\nfaculty and current students. The program includes academic
\ndepartmental sessions, a student services and academic
\nprograms fair, and overviews of campus housing and
\nfinancial aid.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n“Spring Visit Day provides the perfect opportunity for high
\nschool and community college students to experience what
\nOle Miss has to offer,” said Jody Lowe, associate director
\nof admissions. “The day will allow for them to visit with
\nfaculty and staff, tour the campus and see for themselves
\nthe extraordinary academic and other opportunities
\navailable at the University of Mississippi.”
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nThe day gets under way with registration at 8 a.m. at
\nMartindale Student Services Center, with campus tours and
\nmaps available.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nOther activities include a picnic in the Grove, featuring a
\ncomplimentary lunch with musical entertainment by the Ole
\nMiss Steel Drum Band; and open house in residence halls,
\noffering visitors the opportunity to tour the halls and
\nmeet with residence hall student leaders.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
