\nsubculture whose members refrain from drinking, smoking or
\ndoing drugs. Some youths who participate also abstain from
\ncaffeine, psychiatric medicine and casual sex. The term was
\ncoined by the 1980s hardcore punk rock band Minor Threat.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
\nyoung person can feel cool without using drugs or alcohol;
\nit’s about fitting in without giving in to peer pressure,”
\nHaenfler said.

\nthink that’s a mislabel. Straight Edge is a social group
\nwith many different faces.”
