OXFORD, Miss. \u2013 The Ole Miss Student Union<\/a> is undergoing an expansion and renovation that will alter dining options at the University of Mississippi<\/a> during the spring semester.<\/p>\n

The Student Union Food Court will be closed during this transitional period. To accommodate dining for faculty and staff, Ole Miss Dining will extend hours of operation in all of its dining locations as well as adding temporary dining solutions \u2013 Chick-Fil-A Mobile, POD Mobile and Dodo Pizza \u2013 for the semester.<\/p>\n

“We are excited about the impending changes to our campus portfolio and are confident in the steps we have taken to ensure the dining needs of our faculty, staff and students are met,” said Chip Burr, general manager of Ole Miss Dining<\/a> Services. “Our great partnership with the university continues to drive our investment into making Ole Miss Dining an inclusive experience that is healthy, innovative and sustainable.”<\/p>\n

Students, faculty and staff will not lose the value of their meal plans. Students with Rebel 100 will maintain a block of 100 meals. Students with Rebel 50 Plus 1, Spring Greek 50 and Upperclassmen 50 meal plans will have a block of 50 meals.<\/p>\n

Block meals will be available at the Rebel Market, the Marketplace at the Residential College, breakfast or lunch at the Grill at 1810 or an $8 equivalent of menu items at Freshii, Einstein Brothers Bagels, Raising Cane’s, Steak ‘n Shake, Chick-fil-A Mobile and P.O.D. Mobile.<\/p>\n

Rebel Unlimited Plus 1, faculty and staff meal plans, Spring Greek Plus 1, Upperclassmen Plus 1 and Upperclassmen Weekday Plus 1 will not be affected.<\/p>\n

Food service will resume at the Ole Miss Student Union for the 2017 fall semester. Dining options in the new facility will include a full-service McAlister’s Deli, an expanded Chick-fil-A, Qdoba, Panda Express and Which-Wich, featuring premium sandwiches, vegan and vegetarian options.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
