\nof Sumrall, organized this year’s March of Dimes Walk at
\nthe University of Mississippi scheduled for Saturday (April
\n19). This is the first year for Miss University to be
\ninvolved in the walk.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\n“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of such a
\ngreat organization,” Norman said. “It’s an honor to get to
\nplan and coordinate this project in conjunction with the
\nMarch of Dimes. I know the amazing things the university
\ncommunity is capable of doing, and we are looking forward
\nto having their support.”
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nParticipants join in the March of Dimes mission, which is
\nto work together to give all babies a fighting chance
\nagainst the threats to their health: prematurity, birth
\ndefects and low birth weight.
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n“I am so proud of the work that Mary Brandon has done in
\nterms of getting the student organizations on the Ole Miss
\ncampus involved in the March of Dimes walk,” said Jennifer
\nTaylor, director of Campus Programming and local director
\nof the Miss University pageant. “She has dedicated
\ncountless hours to ensure that the walk is a success.”
\n<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nRegistration and check-in begin at 8:30 a.m. in front of
\nthe Grove Stage. The walk starts at 9 a.m. To register
