\u2026 Thursday afternoon series begins Sept. 2<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

OXFORD, Miss. \u2013 A speaker series sponsored by the School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi offers a look into ethical dilemmas, entry-level career opportunities and more.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The \u201cFall 2010 Distinguished Speakers\u201d series, scheduled mostly for Thursday afternoons, will cover a range of topics including business trends, issues and careers.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Distinguished Speaker Series is an integral piece of the MBA program as it provides students an opportunity to hear from top business leaders in the community,\u201d said Bethany Cooper, director of corporate relations and MBA services. \u201cThe series also gives our speakers the chance to engage with our MBA students, and to give back to our future leaders.”<\/p>\n

Unless noted otherwise, each program will be held in Holman Hall, Room 30 at 4:30 p.m.\u00a0 Thursdays. All events are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

The series begins Sept. 2 with a conversation with John Dunavant, vice president of Federal Express World Hub.<\/p>\n

Other programs in the series are:<\/p>\n

Sept. 9 \u2013 John Bierbusse, retired manager of security and research administration at A.G. Edwards.<\/p>\n

Sept. 16 \u2013 Jeff Rogers, director of intermediary relations at Hewlett Packard.<\/p>\n

Sept. 17 \u2013 John Cassimus, entrepreneur of Maki Fresh and Zoe\u2019s Kitchen, speaks at 1 p.m. in Connor Hall, Room 110.<\/p>\n

Sept. 23 \u2013 Melanie Dowell, senior vice president of wealth management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barnes.<\/p>\n

Sept. 30 \u2013 Glen Warren, president and CEO of Antero Resources.<\/p>\n

Oct. 1 \u2013 Casey Franco, sales representative for Eli Lilly, speaks at 11 a.m. in Holman Hall, Room 230.<\/p>\n

Oct. 7 \u2013 Liz Randall, president of the Randall Perkins Group.<\/p>\n

Oct. 14 \u2013 William Alias, president and member of the board of managers of Security Holdings.<\/p>\n

Oct. 28 \u2013 Bill Chiles, president and CEO of Bristow Group.<\/p>\n

Nov. 2 \u2013 Hu Meena, president and CEO of Cellular South Inc., speaks at 4:30 p.m. in Conner Hall, Room 110.<\/p>\n

Nov. 4 \u2013 Jennifer Jordan, finance director of Stevens Inc.<\/p>\n

Nov. 11 \u2013 Jake McCutchen, product manager of knee marketing for Wright Medical Technology.<\/p>\n

Nov. 18 \u2013 Entrepreneurs Matt and Hank Burdine.<\/p>\n
