Gov. Phil Bryant has proclaimed March 20 as Mississippi SBDC Day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will be at the Mississippi Capitol Wednesday, March 20th, to thank our state senators and legislators in person for their continued support of our program,&#8221; said Sharon Nichols, MSBDC state director. &#8220;Their crucial support allows us to assist our fellow Mississippians make their dreams of business ownership come true, support their families and provide the jobs that are the backbone of our state economy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>SBDC Day is a national movement to help share the small business success stories and notable impact Small Business Development Centers have fostered in communities nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;SBDC clients give their SBDCs 4.5 out of 5 stars, and 92 percent of SBDC clients recommend their SBDCs to other small businesses,&#8221; said Charles &#8220;Tee&#8221; Rowe, president and CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/americassbdc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">America&#8217;s Small Business Development Centers<\/a>. &#8220;With nearly 40 years of expertise, proven ROI and stellar client ratings it&#8217;s clear that America&#8217;s SBDCs are the nation&#8217;s most trusted small business resource.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mississippi&#8217;s seven Small Business Development Centers are housed at colleges and universities throughout the state and provide one-on-one business counseling and workshops at no charge.
