Jen Blakley<\/p><\/div>\n

Jen Blakley, administrative assistant in the School of Pharmacy<\/a>, has been named Staff Council’s Staff Member of the Month for January. To help us get to know her better, she answered some questions for Inside Ole Miss.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>How long have you worked at Ole Miss?<\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>1 year and 4 months<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is your hometown? <\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>Van Wert, Ohio.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>Talk about your favorite Ole Miss memory. <\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>Watching my daughter perform as an Ole Miss Rebelette!<\/p>\n

 IOM: <\/strong>What do you enjoy most about your position or the department in which you work? <\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>Working with the faculty, staff and students.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What do you like to do when you are not at work? <\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>Spend time with my family, enjoy Ole Miss athletic events, shop and clean.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is one thing on your bucket list? <\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>To visit Alaska.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is your favorite movie? <\/p>\n

Blakley: “<\/strong>Titanic”<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is your favorite Ole Miss tradition? <\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>The Walk of Champions and the Grove.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What is a fun fact about you?<\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>I was a baton twirler.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>If you could have lunch with anyone alive or dead\/fictional or real, who would it be and why?<\/p>\n

Blakely:<\/strong> My late grandpa. He passed when I was younger, but he had such an impact on my life. I would love to be able to have some more time with him.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>What are three words you would use to describe yourself?<\/p>\n

Blakely:<\/strong> Mom, dedicated, compassionate.<\/p>\n

IOM: <\/strong>If you could visit one time or place in world history (past, present or future), what would it be?<\/p>\n

Blakley: <\/strong>The Apollo 11 mission.<\/p>\n

 IOM<\/strong>: If I could be an animal for a day I would be _____ . <\/p>\n

Blakely: <\/strong>An eagle.<\/p>\n
